Welcome to the Academics section of Atryee College of Education, where we are committed to shaping the future of education through our comprehensive teacher training programs. Our institution offers two main courses:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
These programs are designed to provide aspiring educators with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become effective teachers and contribute meaningfully to society.
Admission Procedure
Students seeking admission must submit the prescribed application form available with the college prospectus. The form should be duly filled and signed by the applicant and accompanied by the following documents:
- Attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of all examinations from Higher Secondary (H.S.) or equivalent up to the last examination passed.
- Date of birth certificate (self-attested or issued by a competent authority).
- One recent passport-sized photograph affixed at the designated spot in the application form.
- Caste certificate from a competent authority (if applicable).
- Original receipt showing the purchase of the application form.
- Migration Certificate (for students from other universities or boards).
Academic Session
The academic session at Atryee College of Education begins in July each year and concludes in June of the following year. The session includes both theoretical instruction and practical training, in accordance with the guidelines of affiliating bodies and regulatory authorities.
Course Structure
Both B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programs follow the curriculum prescribed by the relevant regulatory bodies. The courses include:
- Core papers in education and pedagogy
- Optional teaching subjects
- School internship and practice teaching
- Workshops, seminars, and project work
- Assessment through internal evaluation and term-end examinations
